In this activity, students investigate the relationships between power, work, and time. They first slide a simulated box up an inclined plane and observe how the work done on the box changes as the box moves up the plane. |

They calculate the power expended moving the box up the plane. |

Finally, they vary the force applied to the box and the velocity of the box and observe the effects on work and power. |
